To promote Optus Sport’s acquisition of the Premier League, I came up with the idea of giving fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the Premier League, guided by Aussie football legend Mark Schwarzer. And that’s how Closer was born.

Closer was a content series for Optus Sport that brought Australians closer to the sport they live and breathe. Our film took fans beyond the pitch, not only showcasing Mark’s journey at Chelsea, Fulham, and Middlesbrough, but also giving us a glimpse into his life today. It gave fans an exclusive, unfiltered view of the beautiful game and Premier League through the eyes of one of Australia’s greatest goalkeepers.
